About
NELSON FIRE CLEAN-UP CREW
The Nelson Fire Clean Up Crew are simply a group of volunteers, with the support of Civil Defence and Tasman District Council, that are working on ways in which we can help those with their needs following the effects of the Nelson Fire.
The idea came about when the NNFCC Founder was
looking around at his old tools and wondered how he may
be able to use them in aid of the following clean up that
will proceed the fire once people return to their homes.
Since the fire, we have come a long way and through a few ups and downs, honouring his wishes we are now able to help the community with the clean up with those affected families properties, houses, sections & life style blocks etc.
The clean up is varied but not be limited to:
- Section cleaning and tidying;
- Water blasting;
- Cleaning homes (inside and outside due to smoke damage);
- Removal of rubbish;
and the list will grow as we gather more information.
We are here to offer any help people will require to get their lives
and homes back to normal, no matter how large or small the
clean up may be.
So if you can help in any way, or need help, please don't hesitate to register and if you were affected by the fire, please also ensure you have applied for the Mayoral Relief Fund by 12 May 2019.
